During its first heydey in the 1960s and 70s, the stadium hosted The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Barbra Streisand, and Simon & Garfunkel. Today, icons such as Alabama Shakes and Mumford & Sons are back on stage. The iconic stadium is located centrally in Forest Hills. Local dining & bars color the streets that lead to the stadium & light the night for celebration to continue after each show.

The Tour of California is an annual professional cycling stage race on the UCI America Tour and USA Cycling Professional Tour. The 8 day race covers 650–700 miles through the U.S. state of California. A typical edition might begin in Nevada City, travel through the redwoods, wine country and the Pacific Coast & finish in a southern California city such as Escondido. The tour is sponsored by the CA based biotech company, Amgen.
